Live D&D Event (On Stage)
The Live D&D Event is a featured on-stage tabletop roleplaying experience performed in front of a live audience. This special event highlights collaborative storytelling, improvisation, and epic moments as players and Dungeon Master bring a Dungeons & Dragons adventure to life.
Date, Time, and Location
The Live D&D Event will take place on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:50 PM, for a total runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes.
The event will be held on the main stage in Prestage Hall Salon A.
Players and Dungeon Master
We are accepting applications for up to five (5) players to participate live on stage during the event. We are also seeking one Dungeon Master to run the live session.
This is a performance-style game conducted in front of a live audience.
Compensation, Awards, and Recognition
Each participating player will receive $50 compensation and a free convention T-shirt for taking part in the live event. All participating players will receive special recognition during the Closing Ceremony.
The selected Dungeon Master will receive $200 compensation for running the live event, along with a free convention T-shirt. Dungeon Master recognition will also be given during the Closing Ceremony.
All awards and compensation will be presented during the Closing Ceremony. Payments will be issued via blank cashier’s checks, which will be held in secure safekeeping until the event.
T-shirt sizes for all live participants will be requested and confirmed prior to the event.
Character Rules and Requirements
The Live D&D Event will be run using Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.
All player characters will be 11th level. A total of 10 pre-generated characters will be prepared for the event, allowing players to choose from a curated selection designed specifically for stage play.
Players may also submit their own character for consideration. Any custom character must be submitted at least 30 days before the convention begins for review and approval. Characters submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
Only D&D 5th Edition characters are permitted for this event.
Application and Selection
Interested players and Dungeon Masters must apply in advance. Final selection will be based on availability, character readiness, and suitability for a live performance environment.
